Matcha White Choc Blondies With Added Collagen
Looking for a non-boring afternoon treat? Look no further than these matcha-infused, white chocolate ‘blondies’. Yep, a blondie is a white chocolate version of the beloved brownie—and is guaranteed to be a crowd favourite. With the addition of matcha for a natural energy boost, and Dose & Co Beauty Collagen powder for its skin-loving benefits, this is a sweet treat with a difference. In just 45 minutes, you can create a batch of these mouthwatering treats that are perfect for sharing or savouring all to yourself. Let's dive into the recipe!
Ingredients
- 2 servings Dose & Co Beauty Collagen Unflavoured
- 2 tbsp matcha
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp baking soda/powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups plain flour
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate, roughly chopped
Method
Preheat the oven and prepare the baking pan:
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and line a 20cm (8-inch) square baking pan with baking paper, ensuring it extends over the edges for easy removal of the blondies.
Mix the wet ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, Dose & Co Beauty Collagen Unflavoured, and brown sugar. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated and form a smooth mixture. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until combined.
Incorporate the dry ingredients:
Stir in the matcha, flour, baking soda/powder, and the chopped white chocolate into the wet mixture. Gently fold the ingredients together until a thick, smooth batter is formed.
Bake to perfection:
Pour the blondie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the edges turn slightly golden and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and cut into squares:
Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan. This ensures they hold their shape. Once cooled, carefully lift the blondies out of the pan using the extended edges of the baking paper. Cut them into squares or your desired size.
